Open City Documentary Festival is excited to announce new events and opportunities happening in March. Open City Documentary Festival takes place over six days in venues across London and the programme offers a chance to see the best in contemporary, international documentary as well as filmmaker Q&As, industry panels, workshops, networking and parties. The eight edition of the festival will take place between 4th – 9th September 2018.
Open City is currently looking for individuals to join our submissions pre-selection panel. They are seeking applicants with a proven interest in nonfiction cinema and film programming, and have 6 PAID positions available, 3 shorts viewers and 3 feature viewers.
Open City Documentary Festival creates an open space to nurture and champion the art of creative documentary and nonfiction storytelling; and over 4,000 people attended last year’s festival to enjoy some of the very best in contemporary and international documentary. Submissions for Open City Documentary Festival 2018 are open until April 9th.
