Sundance is hosting a Doc Producers Confidential on Sunday, August 25 – aimed at producers and those entering the field, as well and directors and filmmakers. The Producers Confidential is a public program hosted by the Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program that spotlights the artistry and creative spirit embedded in nonfiction filmmaking from the perspective of the producer. These events create a space for conversation centered around creative collaboration, best practices, and community.
Producing holds the tension between creative ambitions and practical realities. This half-day event is designed for producers to share distinct approaches to building strong creative partnerships as well as further conversations around equity and power in independent nonfiction storytelling. The day will be split between panel conversations, a working session, and networking time.
Free and open to all, but you need to RSVP to attend: https://docproducersconfidential.splashthat.com
