Rencontres Internationales Paris is a major event dedicated to the contemporary practices of the moving image. Offering a space to discover and reflect upon new cinema and contemporary art, it is a unique platform in Europe where artists can meet and exchange ideas with a large audience and launch new projects. It aims to introduce these works of art to a broad audience in order to create pathways between different art forms and different audiences, creating an exchange between artists, filmmakers and those involved in artistic and cultural life.
They are holding a call for entries until August 31st 2017, which will be held in Paris in December 2017. Any individual or organization can submit one or several proposals. The call for entries is open to film, video and multimedia submissions online , without any restrictions on length or genre. Submission is free, regardless of geographical origin. Works submitted to Les Rencontres Internationales must not have been previously publicly shown in Paris or Île-de-France Region.
