Birdsong Collective release party/reading Friday 5/14

The BIRDSONG COLLECTIVE is hosting a release party/reading for birdsong #12, a local DIY lit/art/interview zine, on Friday May 14th, 8pm at the new 3rd Ward building: 573 Lorimer at Metropolitan, steps from the Lorimer L stop.
There will be wine, a smattering of short readings from the collective, two guest readers — Cheap cholestoplex sale SARA MARCUS Pills Order Pills (Girls to the Front: the True Story of the Riot Grrrl Revolution) and ALEXANDER CHEE (Edinburgh) — and music by the whiskey-and-lullabies-infused folk duo PAPS (you can see them Pills here , performing last month at PPOW Gallery for the release party of Max Steele’s Scorcher #5).
If you can’t make it to the reading, you can order birdsong #12 online in all its screenprinted / offset printed glory, or request the photocopied free version while supplies last.
