Call for Recordings
Kinokophonone welcomes submissions by field recordists, phonographers and artists to share in a collective listening experience at the next Kinokophonography listening event on Monday, 8th September, 2014 at the New York Public Library for Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. Works can be un-edited field recordings or compilations. Please note that we have stereo and 5.1 capabilities.

All submissions must be received by 7 August, 2014.

Purchase Open Call Purchase
For our open call, recordings can be made anywhere and can be of anything you feel should be heard! To respond to our open call, send a link to download your sound file (up to 3 minutes in duration). Please label the file with your surname. In the email please include the following details: track title, a short track description and the location of where the recording was made.

Theme Submissions
In addition to our open call, we welcome submissions around a theme. The next session’s theme is: play. Please interpret this theme as you wish, and set out with your recording device. Next, please send us a link to your sound file (up to 4 minutes in duration) labeled with your surname. In the email please send the following details: track title, a short track description and the location of where the recording was made. Please also tell us briefly why you feel it fits into the theme. We will dedicate part of the evening to these specially produced recordings.

*Note for Multi Channel Submissions:
If interested in submitting a multi-channel recording please submit a stereo version and indicate the work is a multichannel in the track description. If your submission is selected for the event we will contact you regarding the technical requirements.
