The White River Indie Film Festival is now hosting its first ever transmedia storytelling contest. Buy The Tell-it-in #Transmedia Film Competition, sponsored by Google, invites filmmakers to creatively combine two or more distinct digital media platforms to tell their stories. The winning entry will receive a cash prize of $2,500 and a tour of any YouTube space. Runners-up will receive a $1000 cash prize.
The Tell-it-in #Transmedia Film Competition seeks to award a project that expands on traditional storytelling by delivering various parts of a narrative through multiple forms of digital media.
Festival organizers will narrow the field to fifteen finalists that will be judged by a panel of four innovators from various digital media fields (this year’s panelists will include: Paul Miller aka DJ Spooky that Subliminal Kid, Ann DeMarle online Pills , David Lee, and Buy Elaine McMillion Sheldon). Winners will be announced at the White River Indie Festival April 24-27, 2015.
