ITVS’s Diversity Development Fund Deadline Extended to October 24th, 2014

ITVS has extended the deadline for their  order motilium new zealand Cheap The Diversity Development Fund(DDF) to this upcoming Friday, October 24th at 4pm. DDF awards independent producers from ethnic or cultural communities that have historically been underrepresented on television. The fund provides up to $15,000 in research and development funding for producers of color to develop single documentary programs for public television. Funded activities may include travel, research, script development, preliminary production for fundraising/work-in-progress reels, or other early phase activities.

ITVS is looking for single public television programs on any subject, viewpoint or style. They fund programs, from all points of view, that bring new audiences to public television and expand civic participation by bringing diverse voices into the public sphere. DDF does not accept live-action drama (fiction) submissions. For this competitive fund, a program must feature content that matches the ITVS mission and excels in the art of storytelling

DDF accepts:

Projects that have not yet begun production
Programs that can become eligible for ITVS production funding initiatives as single programs of standard broadcast length (half-hour or one-hour). In rare cases ITVS will consider feature-length programs.

DDF does not accept:

Proposals for completed projects seeking distribution
Series proposals or fictional dramas
Projects intended solely for theatrical release
