A telephoto lens reveals a spirit dimension. A cross-species rebellion is sparked by instigators in plain sight. \nKelly Sears’ films traverse the uncanny terrain between documentary and speculative fiction. Using experimental animation techniques\, Sears reconfigures archival and original imagery through collage and layering\, opening portals to alternate narratives. Each frame becomes a site of possibility\, where histories are reexamined and futures imagined. \nThis program spans nearly two decades of cutting\, collaging\, and merging thousands of filmic and photographic fragments into worlds at once familiar and fantastic. Kelly will be in conversation with writer\, educator and editor Catherine Taylor following the screening. \nCome through![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”30px”][vc_separator][vc_column_text] \nProgram \n[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”30px”][vc_column_text css=””] \nThe Lost Season\n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]2023\, TRT 6:09\, US[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Earth is experiencing its final winter.
