Film at Lincoln Center Announces Seventh Edition of Art of the Real November 13-26th

Film at Lincoln Center has announced the seventh edition of Art of the Real, critically acclaimed essential showcase for the most vital and innovative voices in nonfiction and hybrid filmmaking, rescheduled from its original dates in April for November 13-26th, 2020. 

The festival will include 16 features and 11 short films, scheduled to be presented in two separate groupings over the course of two weeks and will be screened exclusively in the FLC Virtual Cinema and available for viewing nation-wide.

This year’s lineup features a variety of films exploring a wide range of pressing and perennial issues,  from the intersecting relations of communities, landscapes, plants, and animals, to intertwined global histories and economies, to critiques of the work of nonfiction filmmaking itself. The slate includes new works by internationally acclaimed filmmakers and innovative, award-winning debuts from around the world.

The first week’s films will be available for rent to ticket holders from November 13th 12:00pm ET through November 20th 12:00pm ET, and viewable until November 27th 12:00pm ET. The second week’s films will be available for rent to ticket holders from November 20th 12:00pm ET through November 27th 12:00pm ET, and viewable until December 4th 12:00pm ET.
