Filmshop presents Spoiler Alert themed film screening/party – 7/15

**Attention: The following contains spoilers from Filmshop’s annual end of season extravaganza – read at your own discretion.**

We get it. Last year’s jam-pack finale to the Filmshop season was our biggest ever, and it left you wanting answers: What’s this year’s theme? Who’s performing? Whose films are screening? Will they ever get off the island?

We’re about to answer all of that, and more. Spoiler alert: it’s going to be awesome!

The Filmshop Presents: Spoiler Alert is the Filmshop’s annual end-of-season celebration, a screening of never-before-seen films, created specifically for this event. All films are made by Filmshop’s talented members, and all are inspired by this year’s theme: Spoiler Alert.

We will be screening close to 20 films created and collaborated on by Filmshop members, each with their own unique take on the theme. Filmmakers include Albert Beniada, Emily Harrold, Stacey Maltin, Tanmaya Skehar, Adam Brown, Ali Rivera, Dane Benko, Jaclyn Graminga, Josh Granger, Kerry Lacy, Lizzy Bryce, Marzy Hart, Michael DeMinico, Nathan Breton, Rick Flynn, Rosie duPont, Traven Rice, and Jason Hood.

This year also marks our first block of Filmshop-made VR films, curated by filmmaker Alex Suber.

Our members’ films have screened at festivals across the world – from Berlinale, to Dances with Films, to the Tribeca Film Festival – and have been featured in Filmmaker Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter, and The New York Times. This is your chance to see their newest work, before anyone else. (No spoilers, please.)

In addition to films, the event will feature musical performances by Brooklyn-based Soul artist Madison McFerrin, NYC-based duo the Salt Cathedral, and DJ Kerry Lacy. There will also be a themed photo booth and a silent auction with donated prizes for the filmmaker and the film lover alike.
