Firelight Media’s Documentary Lab Open Call – Apply by June 17!

Do you want to be part of an inclusive network of 70+ documentary filmmakers? Firelight’s Documentary Lab is looking for the next cohort of talented filmmakers of color.

The Documentary Lab is an 18-month fellowship program that supports filmmakers from racially and ethnically underrepresented communities working on their first or second feature length documentary film. The Lab provides filmmakers with customized mentorship from prominent leaders in the documentary world, funding, professional development workshops and networking opportunities.

Firelight is looking for applicants who make artful and innovative documentary films that focus on underrepresented communities and provide new narratives about the most pressing issues of our time. If you’re working on your 1st or 2nd feature documentary, APPLY TODAY! (Deadline: JUNE 17).
