Advances in technology have expanded the possibilities of locative storytelling, from geo-located audio to beacons, and augmented reality. “The Where of Storytelling: Creating the Location Based Experience” is a class series at the IFP Made in NY Media Center that explores site-specific storytelling. From interactive film to experiential design for commercial clients, location adds a new level of experience to media projects.
The program begins in June and includes:

-Writing Workshop, where participants draft a location-based story and refine their projects through design exercises and peer critiques
-Beacon tech workshop led by Aaryn Anderson of Pills Vectorform Pills Purchase , a leading multiplatform interactive design company
