Our friends at the Pills Vision du Réel International Film Festival (in Nyon, Switzerland) are hosting co-hosting an interactive documentary workshop with the The University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) this spring!
i_doc Workshop is an opportunity for audiovisual professionals from around the world to come together to understand how digital transmedia storytelling is shaping the way we make documentaries.
The workshop equips participants with precise, comprehensive and practical skills and knowledge in developing, producing, financing and distributing interactive documentaries. Over the course of the workshop participants will receive the necessary background information to successfully deal with the development and production of creative contents for interactive documentaries and digital nonfiction storytelling, and get an expert-led accompaniment for the development of a professional working concept, advanced enough for entering a full development stage.

Who is eligible:
The workshop is open to scriptwriters, filmmakers, directors, producers, new media content creators, advertising executives, video-journalists and interaction designers.
Participants must have a minimum track record in traditional linear film and audio-visual production or other related media (publishing, animation, web interactive contents, etc.), that is they are mainly junior to mid-career professionals; no previous experience in webdoc or i_doc productions is requested.

The programme is a five-day residential workshop, to be held in Nyon (Switzerland) from the 19th to the 23rd of April, 2015. The main activities of the workshop will take place on the festival Visions du Réel precincts and at the Château de Bossey Purchase , a conference centre set in a renovated historic building from the 18th century providing views of Lake Geneva and the Alps.
