You will be sharing the apartment with 2 documentary filmmakers partaking in a 5-week intensive documentary filmmaking program. Very nice and gone from the apartment during the day, and great way for artists in Brooklyn to connect.

It is a residency for filmmakers and documentary artists and has a lot of shared resources and a lot of opportunities for fun while also having adequate privacy and a comfort (not always found in NYC communal living). There are three floors, a big second story porch, skyline views from the roof, and a grassy backyard with plants tended by UnionDocs. The location is close to excellent transportation, making most spots in Manhattan and Brooklyn within a short subway ride.
There are two 3-bedroom apartments with a living room, kitchen and bath. Bedrooms can be locked, but common spaces are shared by the residents. The building also has high-speed internet and a washer and dryer.
The rooms are 110 sq ft and each have a desk, bed, closet and/or small set of shelves. Each bedroom has a window air conditioner unit.
