Minding the Gap in NYC: Preview and Panel Discussion 2/15

Join our friends at POV and Bronx-based organizations Day One and Hostos Community College (CUNY) on Friday, February 15 at 5:30pm for a free sneak preview of Minding the Gap and a youth-led conversation.

They will show excerpts from the Oscar-nominated film about three young men who turn to skateboarding to escape childhood abuse, confronting questions about masculinity, parenting and growing up. A panel discussion with Bronx youth leaders will then address domestic violence, healthy relationships and healing from trauma. Refreshments will be served. POV will also be raffling off smartphone camera lenses for you to record your own fisheye videos.
