Front End Developer – React

This is a freelance remote gig to help us implement some changes on the front end of Screen Slate. You’ll be working with Screen Slate’s EIC, a UX Designer, and a Back End Developer. This is a hourly thing with a lot of flexibility and occasional meetings or Skype sessions. Any React developer should be able to get quickly up to speed. Strong skill with CSS modules and familiarity with Heroku a plus.

Gallery Listings Editor

This is all about scouring gallery, museum, cultural center, and DIY space announcements to keep Screen Slate’s exhibition section up to date with any ongoing shows related to contemporary moving image artwork. This time-wise, this means volunteering an average of maybe half an hour a week, and mostly just requires organization, self-motivation and being super keyed into what’s going on.
