Tribeca Film Festival & ESPN Short Documentary Program Deadline 01/28

The Tribeca Film Festival and ESPN are looking for filmmakers for the TFI/ESPN Short Documentary Program.

This program funds short documentaries that elevate true stories about sports-driven topics, individuals, and communities. TFI and ESPN are focusing on emerging filmmakers whose perspectives have been historically underrepresented. Up to three projects will receive a grant ranging from $15,000 – $20,000 to use towards the development, production, or post-production of their film.

In addition, all grantees will receive attached mentorship from high-level industry and be given opportunities to screen their work. This includes a workshop hosted during the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival to advance the project in all aspects from storytelling through distribution. Applications are closing soon, on January 28th.
