Pills Creator and director Stanzi Vaubel is bringing together an ensemble of musicians, dancers, lighting, audio, and set designers to interact with a spatialized environment at the Hi-Temp Warehouse.

Vaubel began as a classical cellist trained at the Manhattan School of Music and Juilliard Pre-College, a radio documentarian for New York Public Radio and Chicago Public Radio, and a documentary filmmaker.  She launched “Sites Do Things to People” at Silo City and Hallwalls with collaborator Su Hyun Nam in 2015.  Colin Dabowski in his Gusto Review “A Closer Look:  ‘Sites do Things to People'”, described the piece as “a cello performance interwoven with sound and video projections all designed to get the viewer to contemplate their relationship to the spaces around them.”
