    Ali is Legal Counsel at Gimlet. She has previously handled legal and business affairs at Funny Or Die in Los Angeles and Comedy Central in New York.

    Emanuele is a producer at Gimlet. Previously, she told stories from the mitten state, wandered around St. Louis with a microphone, and taught English in the Vegas of Asia.

    Alex is the host of StartUp, and CEO and cofounder of Gimlet Media. He is an award-winning radio journalist. Prior to Gimlet, he was a producer for This American Life and the co-founder of Planet Money.

    Katelyn Bogucki

    Katelyn is a producer at Gimlet Creative. Prior to joining Gimlet, she worked at The Huffington Post, where she developed the podcast and audio program. Before that, she worked in marketing at Uber.

    Matthew Boll

    Matthew is Gimlet’s lead audio engineer and a composer.  Previously he worked as a producer at Chicago Recording Company.  He was a founding member and toured with The Hudson Branch. He can still be found writing and playing music with these two bands: Bienart and Edwin.

    Julia Botero

    Julia Botero is a Producer with Gimlet Creative. Before coming to Gimlet Julia reported on the military, manure pits and canned wine among other things for North Country Public Radio. She’s contributed stories to NPR’s Morning Edition and Snap Judgment. She is forever indebted to a teenage lifeguard who saved her from nearly drowning in the wave pool at Six Flags Atlantis when she was 6.

    Peter is an associate development producer. He was the creator of Tell Me I’m Funny, which was named the 18th best podcast of 2016 by The Atlantic. He’s also a graduate of the Transom Story Workshop.

    James is Gimlet’s Visual Design Director. Previously he’s worked for Refinery29, Say Media, and Foot Locker, Inc. He also has a degree in Math and Physics. When he’s not working, he’s probably skiing.

    Lisa is co-host of StartUp. Previously, she was a senior editor at FiveThirtyEight and a reporter at NPR’s Planet Money and WNYC. She has an MBA from Columbia Business School.

    Katie is Gimlet’s Director of People Operations. Previously, she hired people and managed talent strategy at Time Inc. and the Wall Street Journal. She likes horses.

    Kelly Coonan

    Kelly is the Ad Operations Manager at Gimlet. Before coming to Gimlet, she bought, planned, and implemented media campaigns for clients in retail, CPG, tech, finance, and entertainment. She plays roller derby under the name Rat Queen.

    Kwame is an Account Executive at Gimlet. Previously, he worked at Townsquare Media. He is songwriter and a two-time NCAA DI Men’s Soccer National Champion.

    Molly Donahue

    Molly is an associate producer at The Pitch. Before she joined Gimlet she was a producer at New Hampshire Public Radio where she worked on shows including Word of Mouth, Outside/In, and Civics 101. She’s happy to return to New York and the glory of her college radio DJ days.

    Christine Driscoll is an associate producer at Every Little Thing. Before joining Gimlet, she worked as a sustainability consultant researching and developing solutions to environmental issues that were… surprisingly awesome.

    Eric co-hosts The Nod at Gimlet. He also co-hosted For Colored Nerds, an independent podcast about race, news and pop culture with @bmluse. Prior to working at Gimlet, he helped nonprofits and foundations develop digital strategies at Fenton.

    Jorge is an Associate Producer on Gimlet Creative. Before joining Gimlet, he produced podcasts at ESPN/538. His favorite comic is Secret Wars #8.

    Josh Fjelstad

    Josh is the Director of Marketing for Gimlet Creative. One of the first members of BuzzFeed and Mic’s creative teams, over the course of his career Josh has worked with brands like Purina, BBC, Google, Microsoft, Frito-Lay and Hasbro to tell their stories in the digital age—whether it’s imagining an internet made for cats or facilitating a crowdsourced Monopoly board.

    Phoebe is an associate producer for Every Little Thing. Before coming to Gimlet, she made stories for Oregon Public Broadcasting, NPR, Slate, Outside Magazine, 99% Invisible, and The New York Times. She has never been to IKEA and is saving it for a special occasion.

    Chris Giliberti

    Chris is Gimlet’s Head of Multiplatform. He’s responsible for extending Gimlet’s podcast franchises into new formats such as TV, film, book, and beyond. He also leads partnerships for Gimlet, including efforts to extend our reach to new platforms and identify exciting distribution opportunities for our content. He previously worked as a consultant to media companies, most recently at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG).

    Seth is Gimlet’s West Coast Account Director. Working with countless brands and marketing teams, he brings a wealth of knowledge in digital, event, and multiplatform advertising. Previously, he worked for Pandora, Vevo, and in terrestrial radio. He is based in San Francisco.

    Jonathan Goldstein did a show on CBC Radio. He does stories on This American Life. He wrote a few books and some magazine articles. His new show is called Heavyweight.

    Jim Grau is Gimlet’s VP of Finance & Operations.  He is responsible for all financial operations at Gimlet, and also assists the BizOps team across a variety of growth and audience development initiatives.  For a decade prior to Gimlet, Jim worked at the Boston Consulting Group, helping media companies solve a wide range of business issues.

    Frances Harlow is Deputy Creative Director at Gimlet Creative. She has worked for public media outlets such as WBUR, WGBH, and NPR’s Planet Money. As a freelancer, she developed and produced podcasts for clients like Harvard University, United Talent Agency, and Reddit.

    Grace is an East Coast Account Executive at Gimlet; longtime listener, first time employee. Prior to joining Gimlet she worked in sales at the Wall Street Journal and with big brands and small businesses at Google. She likes improv and does not like locksmiths.

    Kalila Holt is a producer for Heavyweight. She’s from Chicago, Illinois and a graduate of Oberlin College. Whenever Kalila Holt makes a salad, people say, “Wow, that salad looks great.”

    Mollie is Gimlet’s Midwest Account Director. She previously worked in sales for Gawker Media and is based in Chicago.

    Eli Horowitz

    Eli Horowitz is the co-creator of The Silent History, a digital novel; The Pickle Index, a useless cookbook; The Clock Without a Face, a treasure-hunt mystery; and Everything You Know Is Pong, an illustrated cultural history of table tennis. He was the managing editor and then publisher of McSweeney’s.

    Erin is Matt and Alex’s Executive Assistant. She’s a graduate of Syracuse University and worked in magazines before joining Gimlet. In high school Erin was voted most dependable.

    Caitlin Kenney

    Caitlin is the VP of Programming and New Show Development at Gimlet. Before joining Gimlet, she was one of the founding members of NPR’s Planet Money, where her work on the Planet Money t-shirt project earned her an Emmy, a duPont-Columbia, and a Gerald Loeb award. Prior to that, she worked as a producer at WNYC, WBUR, and NPR’s Bryant Park Project.

    Stevie is an Associate Producer at Gimlet Media. She graduated from Bowdoin College, where she studied Political Philosophy and English and cohosted a radio show. She also designs and makes things out of metal. If you have an hour to kill, ask her about hammers.

    Matt Lieber is cofounder and President of Gimlet Media. In a previous life, Matt produced radio shows (On Point, Fair Game) and podcasts (Slate Culture Gabfest). He also worked as a management consultant at The Boston Consulting Group, where he focused on media and digital business. Then he chucked it all for Gimlet. He holds an MBA from MIT Sloan.

    Bobby is an audio engineer at Gimlet. Before joining Gimlet he worked as an audio engineer/composer at DDB Chicago, and traveled as a touring musician.

    Brittany is a producer and host at Gimlet. In her spare time, she co-hosts For Colored Nerds, an independent podcast about race, news and pop culture. She hails from Farmington Hills, Michigan and is a very proud graduate of Howard University.

    Kareem is a producer for The Pitch. He has hosted, produced and written for NPR-member stations KUNC, CPR and KCRW. He also produced buckets and double-doubles as a professional basketball player in Europe, and at Princeton University. Don’t ask him if he likes guacamole, you won’t like the answer.
