Call for submissions of environmental documentary works-in-progress for Docs in the City 1/15!

Docs In Progress is currently accepting rough cut submissions of environmental documentaries for their next Docs In The City screening which will take place in mid-March in Washington DC as part of the Environmental Film Festival in the Nation’s Capital, the largest environmental film festival in the country. The selected film will be screened and workshopped in a facilitated feedback session with the audience and a special guest filmmaker. We are excited to announce that our special guest filmmaker will be Judith Helfand who is known both as an award-winning filmmaker (Blue Vinyl, A Healthy Baby Girl, and her latest film Cooked) and an industry field-builder as co-founder of Working Films and Chicken & Egg Pictures. Thanks to support from the National Endowment for the Arts, travel will be covered for one U.S.-based filmmaker to attend, if your film is selected. The deadline to submit is January 15.
