Camden International Film Festival 2019 | September 12-15

We’re kicking off the new Collaborative Studio with a trip to Camden! Join our newest participants as they head up to the 2019 Camden International Film Festival. We’re excited to see the amazing slate of feature and short films for the 2019 edition, as well as the lineup for their 11th annual Points North Forum, which runs concurrent with the festival.

Taking place from September 12-15, 2019 throughout Camden, Rockport and Rockland, this year’s program and forum examines the ways in which the power structures deeply embedded in society have continued to shape the documentary field, including which stories are told, by whom and for whom.  The festival will present 38 features, 51 short films, and 17 virtual reality and immersive experiences from over 35 countries, including exciting work from UNDO friends and collaborators Su Kim, Martha Shane, Nanfu Wang, Brett Story,  Sky Hopinka, and James N. Kienitz Wilkins. The forum includes masterclasses and panels on the creative processes and practices of nonfiction filmmaking, as well as industry-wide conversations how the documentary film and media community reflects existing power structures. Check out the full program here.

Can’t wait to see you there!
