Our friends at the Museum of Modern Art recently announced the 2018 lineup for Doc Fortnight, an international film festival celebrating nonfiction film and media.

Featuring a diverse assortment of features and short films from across the globe, the festival continues to highlight the vibrant and varied styles of independent filmmakers—both emerging and established—around the world.

This year’s lineup includes a retrospective of documentaries made by recently passed away filmmaker Jonathan Demme, as well as a focus on subversive uses of the medium in this complex sociopolitical climate.
