The Legendary Kondabolu Brothers of Queens (Hari and Ashok) visit UnionDocs to host our season closeding party! Born to Indian immigrant parents who attempted to create Indian-American superhumans, they were instead were left with a comedian (Hari) and a man of undefinable abilities (Ashok). Successful individually in their pursuits of comedy and music, they have combined forces to create a semi-regular live talk show in NYC called “The Untitled Kondabolu Brothers Project” and a new podcast “The Untitled Kondabolu Brothers Podcast.” They are one day hoping to make money.

The Untitled Kondabolu Brothers Project (UKBP) is a live talk show with mostly improvised banter and a carefully prepared powerpoint presentation along with a super secret guest. Past topics have included: Peak Oil theory, cultural appropriation, the Illuminati, Blipsters, police brutality and Ashok’s vitamin manifesto. The show occurs on a semi-regular basis at the People’s Improv Theatre in New York City and is available for booking.

Hari Kondabolu is a standup comedian who has appeared on Conan, Jimmy Kimmel Live, John Oliver’s NY Standup Show and has his own half-hour special on Comedy Central. He is also a writer for “Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell” on the FX Network. His website is harikondabolu.com and you can find him on Twitter at @harikondabolu.

Ashok Kondabolu was the hypeman “Dapwell” of the now-defunct rap-group Das Racist. He is also the creator of the online interview/documentary series “Chillin’ Island” and is a DJ on the East Village Radio show of the same name. His website is dapwell.com and you can find him on Twitter at @dapwell

Z Behl is an artist based in new york. She has been exhibiting and photographing installations of her paintings at 7ELEVEN gallery, Mana Contemporary, and most recently the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art. Her work operates at the union of photography, painting and sculpture.

B’klyn Burro. Bite into one of our amazing burritos and you’ll be teleported to 24th and Mission, San Francisco. Food this good needs to be on both coasts. Well guess what, IT IS! B’klyn Burro’s also brings tacos, and quesadillas.

Nick Catchdubs has a party-starting pedigree that’s truly unmatched. For nearly a decade, his wildly diverse DJ sets have been

rocking clubs around the globe and launching thousands of hands into the air at festivals from Lollapalooza and Camp Bisco to

Electric Daisy Carnival and HARDFest. He has been praised by Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, and the Chicago Reader. Nick co-founded the influential label Fool’s Gold and has been hailed as an “indie innovator” in the process by Billboard and the New York Times.
