We’re delighted to welcome you into the magnificent world of MSHR, the artist duo known for their mesmerizing performances with handmade electronic instruments that merge sound, light, and movement into immersive, sculptural environments.
In NETWORK ENTITY, MSHR has designed a digital system that links visual and sonic parameters using open-source software. The duo improvises with the system via a handmade sculptural interface to unfold a series of compositions for video projection and four-channel sound. The result is a kind of live cinema in which visual and sonic shapes mutate through mutual interaction, guided by the players.

Bios
MSHR’s performances revolve around their handmade electronic instruments in feedback systems of light, sound and movement. The duo act as elements within the system, navigating its visceral audiovisual environment through a tangle of agency and circuitry. This performance series is ongoing since 2011, slowly mutating through time.
