We are so happy to be a co-presenter on this important initiative by Camden International Film Festival: The Stand With Ukraine Film Series.

CIFF has orchestrated with an amazing lineup of Ukrainian films. Tune in and 100% of proceeds are donated. Support Ukraine by watching documentary films by Ukrainian directors that highlight the incredible artistry of a nation. 100% of the proceeds from this initiative will go to a special fund at @DocudaysUA International Human Rights Documentary Festival. bit.ly/CIFF_Ukraine

“At Points North and CIFF we stand with the Ukrainian people, the Ukrainian filmmaking community, and with all who have been subjected to the aggression of an oppressor.

In response to the recent events, and in collaboration with our virtual festival platform, Eventive, and our partner distributors, we have organized a program of documentary films by Ukrainian directors that highlight the incredible artistry of a nation.

100% of the proceeds from this initiative will be directed to a special fund established by our friends at Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Festival, to support the needs of Ukrainian filmmakers on the ground in Ukraine, including technical equipment, facilities, and other basic filmmaker needs. The history of Ukrainian documentary cinema goes back over 100 years. Equal parts poetic and political, the work has made a significant and lasting impact on the current documentary landscape. Over the past eighteen years, CIFF has shared a number of cinematic works by Ukrainian directors. These works – both in terms of their artistry and their depiction of resistance, resilience, and the role of art – have moved us deeply.

We hope that you will watch these powerful works of art, we hope that you will share this initiative with your friends, and we hope that you will support this fund to the extent that you can. We promise to share updates on the initiative with you.
