Hayat Hyatt is a Brooklyn-based playwright and award-winning video artist. He received a BA from the University of Michigan in 2008 and participated in the Union Docs Collaborative Artist Residency, Brooklyn, in 2010. His videos have screened at MoMA, La Mama Galleria, New York; Harvard Film Archives, Cambridge, MA; Detroit Institute for the Arts, Detroit; and Bushwick Open Studios, Brooklyn; among others. Hyatt is also a seasoned stage manager, videographer, and production assistant, working with a number of theater companies.
