Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art Portfolio Review Day May 20th

The the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art (HVCCA) in Peekskill, NY is hosting another portfolio review day. Registration is now open, but slots are filling up fast. The day lasts from 10am to 5pm. Each attending artist is given 15 minutes of one-on-one instruction and critique from their reviewer. The review committee is chaired by Marc Straus, owner of Marc Straus LLC, gallery on Grand Street in NYC, and includes Tim Hawkinson of Marc Straus Gallery, Arne Zimmermann of Pablo’s Birthday Gallery, Sam Wilson of Klaus Von Nichtssagend Gallery. HVCCA is dedicated to the development and presentation of exhibitions and interdisciplinary programs that enrich the understanding of contemporary art, its contexts, and its relationship to social issues. HVCCA is also committed to the enrichment of Peekskill, a multicultural community that has recreated itself as a major arts destination
