ISCP: Open Calls for Funded Residencies for Artists of Color. Deadline: December 15th.

They are going to select six New York City-based emerging visual artists who are of minority descent, financially disadvantaged, aged 30 and under. Each artist will receive a six-month residency at ISCP; a free studio; a stipend for living and materials; and enhanced support and funding to realize a public exhibition or project in the public realm. Residents will be invited to join in group field-trips; have professional advisor meetings to discuss the development of their practice; receive monthly visits from guest critics; enjoy access to free supplies and materials; and participate in professional development workshops on topics such as the marketplace, legal matters, and funding opportunities.

An information session will be held at ISCP for potential applicants on December 2, 2015, 6:30- 7:30pm.
