Our friends over at Field of Vision are hiring, and are excited to announce two new open positions: Managing Director and Programming Assistant.

Field of Vision is a filmmaker-driven visual journalism unit that commissions filmmakers and artists with developing and ongoing stories around the globe. They are committed to advocating for the rights and needs of filmmakers, and supporting cinematic innovation and diversity.

Managing Director: Field of Vision is looking for a Managing Director who has impeccable judgement, strong management and coordination skills, as well as the ability to keep daily workflows in motion. The Managing Director will work collaboratively with the Executive Producers to implement and support Field of Vision’s creative vision and mission.

Programming Assistant: The Programming Assistant position is a support role for Field of Vision’s Executive Producer and the funding and commissioning process. Candidates should note that this is a role with the ability to learn about the development, funding and curatorial process across short, episodic and feature nonfiction film. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, with a passion for process and operations. Must be detail oriented, adept at multi-tasking, and a self-starter.
