Kel O’Neill and Eline Jongsma’s EMPIRE screens March 14

Kel O’ Neill and Eline Jongsma’s Empire: Cheap The Unintended Consequences of Dutch Colonialism in New York City will screen at the New School.  Kel presented with UnionDocs two years back as part of the event  Order Global Perspective in Digital Media.

After almost three years of production, we will be presenting excerpts from our award-winning documentary series  Empire: The Unintended Consequences of Dutch Colonialism in New York City. 

Artists Eline Jongsma and Kel O’Neill travelled more than 140,000 kilometers through Asia, Africa and the Americas while filming the immersive documentary project Empire: The Unintended Consequences of Dutch Colonialism. Fresh off their festival premiere at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam, Jongsma and O’Neill will spend the evening presenting excerpts from Empire and discussing their working methods. online
