Latin America’s First Media Dictatorship came up during last night’s excellent post-screening discussion. The audience at UnionDocs wanted to know more about the extent of corruption and control in Peruvian media during Alberto Fujimori’s presidency. Considering the strong possibility that Fujimori will be extradited from Chile to face charges of human rights abuses and corruption in Peru, this short piece is particularly relevant.
