“Night of Philosophy and Ideas” OUT 1 and Odorama with Mauvais Sang Feb 1-2

An intellectual marathon for night owls! This weekend at Brooklyn Public Library there will be a nocturnal marathon of philosophical debate, performances, screenings, readings, and music. Be a part of this free, 12-hour exchange of ideas, featuring top philosophers from around the world.

OUT 1, directed by Jacques Rivette and featuring with an impressive run time of 12hrs and 30 min, will screen all night starting at 7:30pm. Furthermore, you can view Odorama: Mauvais Sang from 1:00am to 3:30AM which will incorporate a commissioned olfactory experience .

This year’s participants will consider humanity’s relationship to the world, to nature, to other living beings and species, and to technology.
