Alexandra Lazarowich is a Canadian Native American artist whose talents have landed her in a wide range of artistic settings. Launching a career as an actress and model in 1997, Alexandra has since appeared in a wide range of television commercials, theatre productions, feature films and TV shows. After graduating from university with a Bachelor of Arts degree she made the transition from working in front of the camera to behind the camera, working at various television production companies in Edmonton. She is currently a Producer/Director/Writer for BearPaw Media Productions. At just 27 years old Alexandra has produced nine films, and has had her work featured at the 2013 Yorkton Film Festival, 2012 ImagineNATIVE Film Festival, the 15th Skabmogovat Film Festival in Inari, Sweden. At the 2012 37th American Indian Films Festival Alexandra won Best Animation for her film Fighting Chance and at the 2013 Dreamspeakers Film Festival Alexandra won Best Documentary Under 30 Minutes for Cyber Bullying.
