Carley Townsend (she/her) is a digital storyteller from Buffalo, NY with a B.A. from Kenyon College in French and Mandarin Chinese. Currently in Brooklyn, NY, she thrives on video calls with her pug, Edna, and capturing the inner workings of ordinary life on screen. Lately, you may find her editing a short film about sacred Black spaces in rural Ohio; writing about the legacy of Jim Crow America for the Law Library of Congress; and interning with the NYC-based nonprofit art organization, WhiteBox.
