Gabrielle Berbey

Story Intern

Gabrielle is a documentary filmmaker from San Francisco in her senior year at Bard College. Passionate about translating non-fiction narratives into multimedia platforms, Gabrielle has explored storytelling through short documentaries, podcasts, and interactive media platforms. In the spring of 2017, she studied documentary production with Tisch in Havana, Cuba, where she directed two short films and crewed on the production of six other shorts. After affirming her love for documentary film in Cuba, she continued on to intern for PBS Frontline. Now in her senior year, Gabrielle works as the Multimedia Editor for Bard’s Center for Civic Engagement and is completing her thesis film on the Filipino diaspora in Queens, NY.
