Hillevi Loven

Resident Curator 2007-2008

Hillevi Loven is a filmmaker, producer and still photographer based in Brooklyn. In collaboration with MIT anthropologist Natasha Schull, she co-directed the documentary, “Buffet: All You Can Eat Las Vegas”, winner of the Best Short from the Society of Visual Anthropology. In 2004, with the Florida ACLU and the NAACP, she worked on a voter advocacy project that included the production of the documentary video, “Take Back the Vote.” Her corporate clients include Condé Nast, American Express and Time Inc. She has produced collaborative work with the Brooklyn art collectives Uniondocs and OVO, and is a member of the Brooklyn Filmmakers’ Collective.
