Jennifer Boles

Jennifer Boles is a historian, teacher, and documentary filmmaker. She received her PhD from Indiana University in 2014 in the field of Latin American history with a minor in Film Studies. Her academic and creative work merges oral history, archival research and documentary filmmaking. She is currently working on a written and documentary film project about a group of experimental eight-millimeter filmmakers from Mexico City and a short documentary film about the Cuban novelist, Edmundo Desnoes.
