Jennifer Lauren Smith

Associate Programmer 2013

Jennifer Lauren Smith is a visual artist who makes short films. She completed her BA at Reed College and her MFA in Sculpture + Extended Media at Virginia Commonwealth University. A recipient of several grants including a Toby Devan Lewis Award and Wynn Newhouse Grant, she has created documentary films for Beam Camp, participated in gallery exhibitions and film festivals in the US and abroad, and taught in the Cinema Department at Binghamton University where she was recently a New Media Artist-in-Residence.
