Kristin Rogghe

Kristin Rogghe is a filmmaker, video artist and writer from Belgium who likes to work across borders. After obtaining a MA in Philosophy from the University of Leuven and a postgraduate degree in Transmedia from the School of Arts St-Lucas in Brussels, Kristin has worked as a dramaturge for theatre productions and as an assistant to several international artists and curators while developing her own practice. Her works have been exhibited and screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, San Francisco Art Institute, Body Navigation Festival in St-Petersburg, ActionFields Gallery in Brussels, Dance Umbrella Festival in Johannesburg, Media City Festival in Windsor, Onion City Festival in Chicago, Worth Ryder Art Gallery in Berkeley and other venues. Kristin writes essays and reviews for cultural magazines and has hosted the weekly cultural radio show A Propos at the independent Radio Scorpio (B).
