Laura Carty

Laura Carty is a writer, artist and researcher interested in the relationship between storytelling and poetics as a way to explore/expose histories that we are too often denied access to. Mixing journalism with experimental sound art, Laura is most drawn to unconventional audio formats that surprise and contort expectations. Fluent in French and Spanish, she has spent considerable time in France, Mexico and Costa Rica and currently resides in Queens, NYC.
