Maggie Lemere

Maggie Lemere is a multimedia storyteller and oral historian whose projects focus on social and environmental issues. She has worked in locations ranging from Southeast Asia and West Africa to the Southern Cone as a filmmaker, oral historian, refugee caseworker and human rights trainer. She is the founder of Wild Women: Stories from Women at the Forefront of Wildlife Conservation, the editor of Nowhere To Be Home: Narratives from Burma’s Military Regime, and a storytelling specialist at Ashoka.
