Marcia Mansur is a producer and documentary filmmaker and holds a Master’s Degree in Anthropology. Working with visual anthropology as a tool for her fieldwork, she co-directed a documentary series about Brazilian cultural heritage that is currently under post-production. She worked at an educational TV channel, coordinating DOCTV series and curating a documentary show for three years. As an independent producer, she developed projects aimed at supporting indigenous people through audiovisual resources. Pursuing interests in making, discussing and distributing cinema, she has produced workshops, debates and film festivals. Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Marcia recently completed a Professional Certificate in Arts Administration at New York University.
