Margaux Caniato

Margaux Caniato is an arts and design advocate– a marketing executive with more than 25 years of experience building and repositioning brands across design, luxury lifestyle, and consumer goods. She is the founder of Max Ventures, a consulting firm through which she advises companies on brand strategy, communications, partnerships, positioning, and go-to-market execution. She currently serves as acting Chief Brand Strategy Officer for Prosper Brands. Earlier in her career, she co-led VP+C (Veeder, Perman & Caniato) for twelve years, an integrated marketing and strategic communications agency whose clients included the likes of Karastan, Alessi, Kate Spade, InterfaceFLOR, JCPenney, Michaels and Mercedes-Benz, and where she was founding CMO behind Farmacy Skincare. She has also served as CMO at Roman & Williams, acting CMO of Sandow Design Group, and SVP at Bacchus agency. She oversaw global marketing at Liz Claiborne Inc., and prior, at the Target Corporation, she managed the home, fashion, and beauty category businesses for the company’s external designer and brand collaborations.

Margaux is the mom of two fine young men, Luca and Paolo, and she lives in Wilton, CT. She is a graduate of, and former adjunct professor of marketing communications at, the Fashion Institute of Technology. And she continues as a guest speaker for students and young professionals across the country. She looks forward to contributing to development, strategic communications and brand strategy at UnionDocs alongside this esteemed group of board and team members.
