Rasel Ahmed (any pronouns) is a community-based filmmaker who uses traditional cinematic tropes and techniques to combine documentary with fantasy. His films are a means to examine his dialogical relationship with statelessness, citizenship, and border. Rasel has an MFA in Moving Image Practice from Columbia University. He is currently working as the post-MFA Researcher in Documentary Filmmaking at Ohio State University.
