Robbie Wilkins is a filmmaker and media artist. He after-schooled himself in filmmaking as a kid, creating his own Public Access Television show in his hometown of Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of twelve. Since then, he has continued to explore, educate, and entertain through the visual medium he grew up on. Currently residing in Brooklyn, Wilkins was a resident and member of the first Collaborative Documentary Fellowship at UnionDocs. His work has been commissioned by NPR and has aired extensively on MTV. Wilkins’ creative projects have also screened at the MoMA, Harvard’s Carpenter Center for Visual Arts, DCTV in New York, and Direcktorenhaus in Berlin.
