Topher Campbell

Topher is an artist and filmmaker. His work sits at the intersection between moving image, sculpture, performance, archive, and spoken word. He is dedicated to reframing dominant narratives to provoke new paradigms of thought inspired by Black Queer culture. His documentary work includes portraits of Black Queer artists and Black LGBTQ+ history. Topher’s art films are driven by a strong visual style and collaborations with musicians to explore ideas about Black Masculinity and the Black Body.
