Vida Zamora

Vida Zamora is a Mexican non-fiction storyteller and writer who graduated from MICA and is a candidate for an MLA in Critical Theory at Johns Hopkins University. The ethos in Vida’s work is spiritual in nature, yet it vocalizes by reflecting upon power discourses and hegemonic forces that dictate gender, class, and ethnic roles in increasingly globalizing areas throughout the US and Mexico—finally advocating for “Kuxlejal” politics and community building as a world-making practice.
