SVA Summer Residency – Deadline extended to 4/15

Our friends at The School of Visual Arts invite you to spend two weeks of your summer in the heart of New York City, working with some of the best filmmakers in the industry to create your own short documentary film!

This Documentary Filmmaking summer residency program provides ample time for independent work and the technical and creative support of classes and workshops with our faculty. You will get:

hands-on camera, lighting sound and edit labs
access to a full suite of equipment including industry-level cameras and edit stations
feedback from faculty and peers
screenings with guest filmmakers

The Residency will take place between June 3- 18, 2019. In response to recent requests the application deadline has been extended to 15 April. You can apply here!
