From June 14 – 21, the Human Rights Watch Film Festival returns to New York.
This year women around the world have collectively raised their voices to condemn discrimination and abuse. Their 2018 edition brings to the forefront the strong women who keep pushing against powerful forces within their respective societies. Moreover, female filmmakers directed over three quarters of the films we present in this year’s programme. Be sure to check out what they have in store for you and to join the conversations.
Join #HRWFFNY this June and experience the most thought-provoking human rights films. You will get a chance to meet filmmakers, protagonists after each screening.
