UnionDocs is proud to announce that two films by 2014 Collaborative Fellows won awards at the Brooklyn Film Festival.
Eric, Winter to Spring won Best Short Documentary, and Purchase Division Avenue Pills won the Spirit Award for Best Experimental Documentary at the Brooklyn Film Festival.

Eric, online Winter to Spring is a glimpse into the life of a Brooklyn cab driver. The film is rich in atmosphere, and profiles a New York City poet and taxi driver as he confronts his past – after losing his brother two years ago, Eric quits using drugs and begins a new chapter in his life.
Buy Division Avenue is an experimental short film about one of the most prominent yet often ignored landmarks of New York, the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. Examining the architecture and fabric of the highway through poetic imagery and experimental ambient sound recordings, the film reveals traces of lives lived in the shadow of the massive concrete sculpture. online http://washprofile.org/?p=19498
